Im getting an error on the categories page, for example

To remove the tags from the single post, index page, or page template, remove the following lines:
<p class="post-tags"> < ?php if (function_exists('the_tags')) the_tags('Tags: ', ', ', '<br/>‘); ?> </p> <p>
