Hi – I’m new at the wordpress theme scene. Is this theme “widget” ready?
Love your site, so many fun things to check out!!!! Come see the site when it’s up and running okay

Hey – it looks great! I’m glad you like the theme :)

Yes, it should work with widgets.

    Hi,

I like the template very much–looking for some specs on it here and didn’t see any?

Can you tell me if the template is html compliant?

    Is the header alterable easily?

Any known bugs still needing repair?

what version of WP is it developed for?

Do you know if the bronc image in left hand corner can be removed easily?

I’m not a techie or design person–so thanks for your patience!
Should ecommerce be easy to add?
    Thanks so much

I replaced the zip file with the one I use on the demo – it works OK there so I’m hoping it will now – let me know!

Would like to use the horse theme, but have tried unsuccessfully to downloan three times. It shows up on my computer as being downloaded OK, but with readings of only 110, 118, 219 KW. When I go to open the zip file, on each occasion it says its empty.
Any solution? Please let me know.
    Regards and thanks.

I just downloaded the horse savvy template this afternoon to do our saddle club’s website. It has static pages, as well as blog posts. But the published by info and date are showing up on the static pages. How can I make it not show up on the static pages but show up on the posts? Thank you.

I like this theme! It has a lot of horses and coolness.
and it’s widgetized, which is always cool.

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Nice theme! Can I change the header, and can it be 2-columns? Thanks!

Very nice theme. Love it. But I can’t figure out how to remove the google sidebar. Or atleast change it to something pertaining to the website. I have looked at the theme codes and just not seeing it. Help?

There should be an ad.php or sidebar_ad.php file – you can delete the Adsense code in those.

The header editor didn’t work on mine, no matter how many times I tried remove and upload. I cropped one to size, named it header.jpg and uploaded to wp-content/themes/horsesavvy/img.

So that worked, and last year I somehow figured out how to put my own ads in there before, but now I can’t find it.

When I run theme editor for any of the .php all I’m seeing is vti encoding from when I backed up the site to my computer. But on the site, the ads are running fine and everything is configured correctly.

Then I took out some vti cnf folders that were apparently put in by msfp when I backed up the site, and now can’t edit anything, even though they had no relevant information in them.

update: I did get to edit them again after refreshing the editor.

Anyway I love the theme and configurability.

    Hi,

Have just installed Horse Savvy and have a couple of issues:

    1. Changed header image but original header still showing

    2. Set up static page “Introduction” but “home” page shows same info and can’t delete

    3. Classed as post as “featured” and installed the Thumbnails for excerpts plug in but nothing showing in featured section

Please can you advise as I would like to continue using the theme

    Regards

    Brian
